I have a security system already. Can Security Integration Solutions monitor my existing equipment?

Security Integration Solutions can monitor most brands of alarm systems. SIS can evaluate your existing system prior to activation. This will allow us to better serve you, as we will be able to evaluate that age, condition, and compatibility of your existing equipment. This will also allow you to discuss other options for upgrading and customizing your alarm system.

What is SIS two-way voice monitoring, and what does it mean for the safety of my family?

Real Time is a two-way communication device that enables our operator to communicate directly with the home in the event of an alarm. If you or someone in your family has a medical or other type of emergency or accident, it allows you to communicate with our monitoring station without having to use a handset. It also allows our experienced operators to offer advice and assistance. If there is a burglary, it allows our operator to challenge the burglar and inform the burglar that the police have been dispatched.

I have a system from another Alarm Company. Can I add the features of SIS two Way-Voice to my existing system?

SIS Two Way-Voice can be configured with most security alarm hardware. One of our security consultants would be glad to visit your home to determine the optimal way to protect your home and family.

Can I activate the alarm system when I am home alone?

Your alarm system has a function whereby your motion sensors are deactivated, while the perimeter sensors are still functioning. This allows you to walk around your house safe in the knowledge that your home is protected while you are at home.

What does it cost for monitoring?

Monitoring rates can vary depending on the amount of hardware, but a rule of thumb is that monitoring will typically cost approximately $1 (one dollar) per day.

How long is the monitoring agreement?

Your monitoring agreement is for 3 years. Other alarm companies will ask you to sign a 4 or even 5 year contract. Our customers have that option as well, if they wish to guarantee their monitoring rate for that long. They are not obliged to, however.

Who monitors my system?

Our UL Listed monitoring facility is a premier local monitoring facility, as well as being one of the best in the nation.

What is your cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policy: 3 days after installation, Seniors (70+ years old), 30 days after installation. If my original cancellation date has passed, and I'm unable to fulfill my agreement, what are my options?

We're sorry to hear you're considering canceling and we strongly urge you to continue your agreement with us, since we are dedicated to helping you create a simple, affordable home automation system. However, we do offer an additional option if that is not possible. First, you can find someone to take over your agreement, at no charge. As an added convenience, we will contact your referral to help you through this process. If your referral signs up for the remainder of your agreement, once your written and signed request for cancellation have been processed, your responsibility will be ended. The second option is to pay off the total amount for the remainder of the months left on your agreement.

Why do you use a door-to-door approach?

We have chosen to market our products using the door-to-door method because it allows us to use a personal approach. When our sales reps come to your door, they can talk to you and customize a system that meets your exact needs.

What is the referral program?

The SIS Customer Referral Program allows you to refer friends, family members, neighbors, coworkers, or random acquaintances you meet at the dentist to SIS. If they have a system installed, you can choose one of four $50 gift rewards: a gift card for Chili's, Home Depot, Bath & Body Works, or $50 off your monthly monitoring service. And the best part is that there's no limit on the number of rewards you can receive. We will compensate you for each and every referral that has a system installed.

How do I get my referral credit?

To get your referral credit, call us at 1.888.998.7328. Calling us directly allows us to track your referrals, ensuring you are rewarded when a system is installed. When you call you will need your referral's name, address or account number so we can look them up in our system. If your friends and family would prefer to contact us on their own, they need to give us your name specifically so you receive the credit.
